Wednesday Nights

On Wednesday nights, we offer two Programs:  Awana for children and students and Walk Through The Bible for adults.

Awana- comes from the phrase “approved workman are not ashamed” (2 Timothy 2:15). Awana is a fun program that trains kids to be confident in God’s word and share the message through their lives.
While students ranging from age 3-18 gather together initially at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall, they will move throughout the night participating in Bible teaching, games, snacks and scripture memorization specific to their own group.

We have 7 groups:
  • Puggles- 0-2
  • Cubbies – 3-4
  • Sparks- Kindergarten – 2nd grade
  • T & T girls- 3rd – 6th grade girls
  • T & T boys- 3rd – 6th grade boys
  • Trek- 7th & 8th grade
  • Journey- 9th-12th grade

Awana partners with parents to help their children grow in the Lord. With family activities and parent Bible studies that go along with what their children are studying.

Do you have to be a Christian to attend?
Not at all. Anytime we consider the scriptures, we believe it has the potential to apply to Christians and non-Christians.

What to wear and bring:
Come as you are! Trust us, on Wednesday nights at 6:45 pm we’ve got people coming from school, work, messy Tex-Mex dinners and all other places. If you don’t have coffee or a Bible, we’ll provide you those as well.
What to expect :

  • Teacher/Discussion Facilitator: Derrick Norris (Senior Pastor)
  • Prayer time: We believe that communication with God is critically important in our relationship with him, as it is in any relationship.
  • Object of Discussion: The Scriptures and material to help with understanding them.
  • Handouts: We will provide you with a handout featuring discussion questions and notes to provide aid to our discussion and our memories after we leave at 8 pm.

For the Winter/Spring of 2018, we will be going through the LifeCoach Discipleship study to supplement the Sunday morning sermons..
